Affidea Osteocentre Prague is among the densitometric facilities with the highest number of densitometric examinations conducted (and therefore corresponding experience) not only in the Czech Republic but also in Europe. Since 2000, our facility has examined more than 120,000 patients, many of whom have undergone repeated examinations. The centre performs densitometric examinations for specialized clinics not only within Prague but also outside Prague, providing service to doctors dealing with this problematic. The facility is involved in the Population Program for Early Detection of Osteoporosis of certain health insurance companies.

The densitometric facility is complemented by osteology clinics, designed for patients diagnosed with osteoporosis or other metabolic bone diseases, with recommendations for further examination and treatment. With 8 doctors in osteology clinics dedicated to metabolic bone disease issues, and thus in terms of the number of treated patients, Affidea Osteocentre Prague is among the top in the Czech Republic. Currently, due to capacity reasons, particularly given the enormous demand for examinations in osteology clinics, waiting times for appointments are in the range of months.
